Baldo, Cosmos

About

Baldo Between celebrated releases on Gerd Jansen’s Running Back, Permanent Vacation, E-Beamz and his own Physical Education imprint, Baldo’s discography speaks for itself. Alongside serving up organic house and techno with vintage sounds and a modern feel, the longstanding Barcelona-based producer and DJ leads the influential Subwax Distribution service and several well-curated sub-labels, including Curated By Time and BLD Tape Recordings. Having formerly held a residency at seminal Barcelona nightspot Razzmatazz, Baldo’s involvement in dance music runs deep. -- Cosmos Born from a shared love of underground dance music, COSMOS is one of the collectives reshaping Bali’s electronic scene. Founded by Lijero and Kenzo, and later joined by Montella G, the trio fuse electro, minimal, breakbeat, and raw house grooves to bring something deeper and eclectic to the island’s dance floors. Although they've focused on Indonesia’s local scene, COSMOS has also brought Pekkuliar, Sanpe, Cosm, and Mesrod to Bali through their European connections, creating a cross-cultural dialogue through sound.
