Club Nasub Invites: Gradis Nice

ISSUGI, FEBB, IO, KID FRESINO, C.O.S.A., BES,

This Friday, November 13th, Club Nasub welcomes Gradis Nice @gradisnice. GRADIS NICE is a producer, beatmaker, and DJ rooted in Japan's underground hip-hop culture. He began his musical journey in 1999 as a DJ, before performing internationally with AFRA and Kei in the INCREDIBLE BEATBOX BAND. Returning to production under the name GRADIS NICE, he linked up with NIPPS of BUDDHA BRAND before moving to Brooklyn, where he refined his sound, connected with the international hip-hop community, and won numerous beat battles to cement his reputation as a producer. He has contributed to projects by some of Japan's most influential artists including ISSUGI, FEBB, IO, KID FRESINO, C.O.S.A., BES, 仙人掌, 5lack, KOJOE, DJ Scratch Nice, and Jin Dogg. He will be joined by Mrock @mrock051 and Kimpro @dasein_kimpro. Mrock is a Busan-based DJ who first immersed himself in hip-hop culture as a B-BOY in 2003 before stepping into DJing. Active across parties, festivals, street dance battles, and pop-up events, he also works as an organizer and instructor. Rooted in black music, he collects rhythmic tracks across genres to deliver the raw joy and power that music holds. Kimpro is a DJ and producer whose work moves across film, video, and dance music, dismantling the very notion of genre. He explores the interplay between individual and social currents, channeling that tension into his music and live sets.
