Dysfunctional Reality 與 TOTEI 破格聯名，正宗 Grime 饒舌、混種舞曲和視覺藝術還不都是殊途同歸？ 從  23 Music Room 發家的胡鬧派對組織 Dysfunctional Reality，居然要與攻入各國藝術殿堂的 XTRUX、Jackson Kaki 主催的台日文化平台 TOTEI (渡體) 水乳交融？這兩個有著天地之遙的組織劍走偏鋒合璧，這畫面怎麼想都不太對。但派對這種東西，哪有什麼錯與對。 既然都要不合常規，那何必要在 lineup 上留餘地。雙方一起從英、日招喚猛將前來：英式舞曲風向球 BBC Radio 1 與 BBC 1Xtra 大力推薦的 Grime 饒舌歌手 SBK，以及被潮流雜誌《EYESCREAM》封為「大阪夜生活的全新英雄」的 DJ 團體「Fullhouse」 成員 mileZ。 本地代表則由台北音樂狡兔們的第四窟「House」門神 Spykee、把 club night 玩得堪比音樂祭的「NEWKIDS!NTOWN」共同創辦人 KUOKUO、橫行在街頭嘻哈和潮流舞曲間的 LAZYFINGA，以及讓無數舞客看到投影畫面先噴飯再咋舌的 VJ／3D 藝術家 Felix Onorato，也紛紛響應這場影音齊鳴的無極限亂鬥。人生苦短，何必強求登上大雅之堂？ Dysfunctional Reality × TOTEI: When Proper Grime, Hybrid Dance Music, and Visual Art All End Up Taking the Same Road The unruly party collective Dysfunctional Reality, which got its start at 23 Music Room, is teaming up with TOTEI (渡體), the Taiwan–Japan cultural platform helmed by XTRUX and Jackson Kaki, whose work has made its way into art institutions around the world. These two organizations seem worlds apart, so what happens when they throw caution to the wind and join forces? Honestly, the whole thing sounds like it shouldn’t make sense. But when it comes to parties, who says there’s a right or wrong way to do things? If neither side is interested in playing by the rules, why hold back when it comes to the lineup? Together, they’ve summoned heavy hitters from the UK and Japan: SBK, a Grime rapper championed by British dance-music tastemakers BBC Radio 1 and BBC 1Xtra; and mileZ, a member of DJ collective Fullhouse, whom trend magazine EYESCREAM has dubbed “the new heroes of Osaka nightlife.” Representing the local scene are Spykee, the gatekeeper of “House,” the fourth den of Taipei’s notorious music rabbit holes; KUOKUO, co-founder of NEWKIDS!NTOWN, who has turned club nights into something on par with music festivals; LAZYFINGA, who roams freely between street hip-hop and cutting-edge dance music; and Felix Onorato, a VJ and 3D artist whose projections have made countless clubgoers burst out laughing before leaving them genuinely impressed. When audio and visuals collide in this anything-goes melee, there’s no limit to where the night might go.
