ENSITE 4 Year Anniversary with Mareena (Tresor, Unrush, Fides)

About

For this edition of ENSITE, we are proud to welcome Mareena from Germany. Raised in the underground scene of former East Germany and based in Berlin since 2004, Mareena has developed a sound deeply rooted in dub techno and early 2000s techno. Her rhythmic, dynamic, and non-linear beats create uncompromising waves of energy that sweep across the dancefloor. Her skills have been proven at some of the world's most respected clubs and festivals, including Berlin's legendary techno institution Tresor, where she has held a residency since 2012, as well as Berghain and De School. Combining raw intensity with elegance, her vinyl sets embody the true spirit of club culture. This edition also marks a special milestone ENSITE 4th anniversary. Six artists, based in Tokyo and across Japan and the world, will come together on the main floor of Circus Tokyo. Each bringing their own distinct and refined musical vision, their individual energies will collide to shape a night unlike any other. With techno at its core, the night will unfold through layers of dub's deep spatial textures, psychedelic elements, intricate sound design, and powerful, driving grooves. Each artist's unique perspective will intertwine, building into an immense, surging current of sound that engulfs the entire dancefloor. Meanwhile, Room 2 will feature special sets from local DJs who have built strong connections with ENSITE over the years, creating a unique experience that can only happen on this night. Over the past four years, ENSITE has continued to push the boundaries of Tokyo's underground scene. This night represents both the culmination of those four years and the beginning of a new chapter. Join us on the dancefloor and witness this special moment for yourself.
