For this final HALI of the year, we’re bringing together hard sounds from across the spectrum — Schranz, Hard House, Acid Techno, and the many forms of groove-driven techno that have evolved from the late ’90s to today. Back in the day, all these sounds could exist side by side under the broad name of “Hard Techno.” There were no borders, no need to separate everything into strict genres. People simply brought together the sounds they loved, mixed them up, and chased what felt good and what sounded cool. That’s exactly how this lineup came together. Rather than forcing everything into one fixed genre, we followed the music naturally. Different sounds, different grooves, different backgrounds — all coming together at the right moment and taking shape organically. The appeal of HALI has always been its openness to a wide range of sounds, while keeping vinyl at the heart of it all. Being close enough to see the DJ’s movements, the way they handle the records, and the passion they put into the music. And above all, the unique sound of vinyl — thick, aggressive, raw, sometimes rough, yet somehow warm and gentle at the same time.
