HEADROOM presents: Richard Sen (UK) All Night Long

About

One selector. All night long. No boundaries. HEADROOM is a club series curated by AROHA, built around long-form sets, great sound and the freedom for DJs to take the dancefloor somewhere unexpected. For this special HEADROOM Presents edition, we're handing the keys to a single selector for an entire night of musical exploration. Welcoming London underground legend Richard Sen back to Collingwood Basement for an all-night journey. It's something of a full-circle moment, too: Richard's all-night set in this very room last year was one of the inspirations behind HEADROOM itself. With over three decades immersed in underground dance music, Richard is a true selector's selector. From his early days as a London graffiti artist to his work with Bronx Dogs and Padded Cell, and releases on Phantasy Sound, Klasse Wrecks and his own Darkness Is Your Candle imprint, he's built a reputation for fearless, genre-fluid sets that connect the past, present and future of club culture. Moving effortlessly through disco, Italo, wonky house, electro, breakbeat, acid and deep techno, Richard's selections are unpredictable, deeply informed and always driven by the dancefloor. His acclaimed Dream The Dream compilation was named DJ Mag's Best British Compilation of 2023, while his weekly show on Do!! You!!! Radio continues to showcase the depth of his collection. One of the UK's finest underground selectors, a Funktion-One soundsystem and a room built for getting lost in the music. Once the pre-sale allocation is exhausted, a limited number of $40 tickets will be available on the door on the night. HEADROOM takes place on the unceded lands of the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation. We acknowledge them as the Traditional Custodians of the land and waters on which we gather, and pay our respects to Elders past and present. Sovereignty was never ceded. A limited allocation of discounted First Nations community tickets is available for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Please contact us directly to access one.
