Jesse Maas & Bambi-S

About

Amsterdam’s Jesse Maas and Berlin-based Bambi-S come together alongside a stacked lineup including Omnis, SÖFI and Meganjanewarry at QUIVR Brisbane for an afternoon of groove-driven house, minimal-infused sounds and timeless electronic music. Bringing two distinct approaches to the dancefloor, the lineup will take you from afternoon into evening with a carefully curated selection of groove-driven house and electronic sounds. JESSE MAAS Amsterdam-based DJ and producer Jesse Maas has established himself as one of the Netherlands’ most exciting names in contemporary house music. His sound is groove-focused, minimal-infused and deeply rooted in the fundamentals of house, balancing understated precision with serious dancefloor drive. Jesse has played some of Europe’s most respected stages, including Awakenings, STRAF_WERK, Mysteryland, PIV Festival, Amsterdam Open Air, Fabric London, Cova Santa Ibiza and Shelter Amsterdam. His productions have earned support from some of the biggest names in the scene, with releases on Fabric Records, Solid Grooves Raw, LOCUS, Shall Not Fade, Belief and You & Me. His track Gross Weight was featured on fabric presents Carlita, while his LTD EP on Belief — the debut release on East End Dubs’ imprint — received support from ANOTR, Chris Stussy, Enzo Siragusa and Jamie Jones. BAMBI-S Born near Frankfurt and now based in Berlin, Bambi-S has developed a distinctive sound shaped by a deep love of crate digging, timeless records and the foundations of electronic music. Her growing international profile has taken her from intimate underground spaces to major clubs and festivals, including Fabric London, while she holds a residency at Studio Club Málaga. She has shared line-ups with artists including Archie Hamilton, Carl Cox, Carista, Loco Dice, Marie Montexier, Nick Curly, Palms Trax and Prosumer, and performed at the opening of UNVRS Ibiza. Her sets move fluidly between groove-driven house, Detroit influences, old-school techno and contemporary club sounds, creating dynamic, energetic journeys that connect the past with the present. Rather than being confined to one genre, Bambi-S follows the energy of the room, carefully curating selections that keep the dancefloor moving.
