PYJAMA PARTY INCOMING (★^O^★) This fundraising event will be filled with: dis live coding interactive art installations a market stall Free stickers AND MOST IMPORTANTLY… hot queer people in their pyjamas 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈(◕‿◕✿)🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️ **Friday 13th November @@ upstairs ! 7pm-1am ♪(๑ᴖ◡ᴖ๑)♪ After production costs, all of the proceeds will go to the Affirmation Station which offers a variety of crucial services for the trans and gender-diverse local community. ( ˙▿˙ ) This event serves as a continuation of Aoifa nic giolla Bhríde (No.9)/Shrieking’s honours project titled ‘Longing for comfort’ a fashion design project that imagines the closet, and clothes as a source of queer euphoria and how the bedroom is utilised as a safe space or third space. It draws from José Esteban Muñoz’s ideas of queer dreaming and utopias, immersing our community in the potential queer realities and futures through our practices of art and worldbuilding. Through longing for slumber we hope to bring the theories and effects discussed in the thesis to life through a community event.
