About

Machìna is a Korean electronic artist based in Tokyo and Berlin, shaping a distinctive musical world through analog sound, vocals, and modular synthesis. Drawing on the freedom and playfulness of jazz, her compositions and improvised live performances transform intimate emotions into the collective energy of the dancefloor. She has performed at MUTEK Japan, MUTEK Montréal, and Berlin’s Berghain, and toured Europe and the US as part of Richie Hawtin’s From Our Minds project. Her work includes a contribution to Tresor’s 30th-anniversary compilation, vocals on Bicep’s “Hawk,” her debut EP Trusted, and Action, an album bringing together her live techno explorations.
