Kicking off the night with proper live music, we welcome Japanese reggae stars YOUTH OF ROOTS, followed by legendary maestro KUNIYUKI (@kuniyuki_takahashi_music) for a special live set. Then, AIKO INOUE (@aikoooinoue) takes over, making her long-awaited return to Japan after 3 years. On the 3F, get ready for an all-vinyl session with the heavyweights HAMISH & TOBY, CHIDA (@chida1973) & MAYURASHKA (@mayurashka). And finally, we present some of Tokyo’s finest collectives — the crews curating, supporting, and pushing nightlife into a different spectrum: SANTERIA (@santeria.party), YOUR HOUSE (@yourhouse.tokyo) & YES CHEF! (@yescheftokyo). LIL LOUIS is a true house legend, pioneer & icon! An international artist, producer, songwriter, DJ, author and film composer. With over 52 years behind the decks, his sound has help shape House, Techno, EDM and Pop, influencing generations of DJs and producers around the world. Louis began DJing in Chicago at just 12 years old, before mixers, drum machines or even disco. By 15, he had hosted what is considered the world’s first rave, and soon became one of Chicago’s most influential club figures. In 1987, he released “French Kiss,” one of the most important House records made. The worldwide hit sold millions of copies and established Lil Louis as the biggest dance artist of his generation. His acclaimed albums include From the Mind of Lil Louis, Journey with the Lonely and Two Sides to Every Story. Throughout his career, he has also written and produced for artists including Jay-Z, John Legend, Babyface, Lil’ Kim, Donna Summer and Basement Jaxx, as well as composing music for movies. Lil Louis signed with Sony and completed two of the most highly acclaimed albums in dance music history.
