SUNSET SUNDAY is a cultural event where music, food, and art come together at Kyoto City Hall Square. As the energy of the daytime event carries into the night, the celebration moves to CLUB METRO, one of Kyoto’s long-standing clubs, for the AFTER PARTY featuring Doit生JAZZ! Stepping away from the familiar image of nightclubs centered around dance music, the night is dedicated entirely to jazz played on vinyl. Through the DJs’ selections, jazz reveals its freedom and depth—not only as music to listen to, but as music to dance to—bringing a musical culture that has long been part of Kyoto’s club scene onto the floor today. From day into night, music brings people and cultures together, offering different ways to experience Kyoto’s local culture and nightlife across the city.
