Singapore, meet Tea Rave. 🍵 This October, Don Julio 1942 brings Hovy Lee to The Whisper Room for Singapore’s first-ever Tea Rave. Created by Chinese electronic artist, DJ and producer @hovylee, Tea Rave takes inspiration from traditional Chinese teahouse culture, bringing together electronic music, tea, fashion and Chinese cultural elements in a completely new setting. Think qipao and modern Chinese dress, pipa meeting electronic sounds, and a dancefloor that brings tradition firmly into the present. After drawing more than 1,000 guests to its first edition and millions of views online, Tea Rave now makes its way to Singapore, and into The Whisper Room.
