Distrikt 33: Finsent C (cipher, Macau) + Faxtory (Distrikt, Hong Kong)

About

Hong Kong artist Finsent C crafts DJ sets as fluid, hypnotic journeys into the deeper shades of techno. His musical path began behind the drum kit, a foundation that informs the rhythmic, immersive quality of his performances today. He perceives a set as a shared, ritualistic experience—one that requires patience and connection to unfold. This philosophy is the core of his curated music project, Cipher, an outlet dedicated to crafting otherworldly sonic environments and showcasing the meditative side of experimental electronic music. A staple of his hometown's scene, Finsent has also carried his signature kinetic groove across the region, with notable appearances in clubs and venues throughout East Asia, steadily propagating deep, undulating soundwaves across the underground circuit. Faxtory Distrikt co-founder Justin a.k.a. Faxtory is passionate about pushing the sonic boundaries of Hong Kong’s community-driven underground scene with a platform that showcases local talent while integrating international touring artists. His 宀 Club residency has allowed for the successful growth of brand project and collective Distrikt, playing alongside Panorama Bar’s Sedef Adasi, Kalahari Oyster Cult’s Sansibar and collaborating with renown veterans such as CEM, DJ Tool, Voiski, and most recently DJ Nobu.
