About

SoundCheck presents JANEIN (DE) (@janein____) at Collingwood Basement on Friday 13 November, joined by Ivan Kyrov (@ivan.kyrov), Berga (@berga.op) and Yulia Kasa (@dj.yuliakasa). During his time as a DJ and producer, JANEIN's musical career has been akin to the flight of a spaceship since starting the independent vinyl-only label SEELEN. While not without its obstacles, the young German artist has been running on full gear, leaving his mark on the techno scene with appearances at BASSIANI, TRESOR, SÄULE at Berghain and Faust Club in South Korea. With releases on SEELEN., Fiedel’s Fiedeltwo & SuperSoundTool, Slam’s Soma Records and Marcel Fengler’s IMF, JANEIN has crafted a unique sonic identity—raw, atmospheric and uncompromising. Deep textures and driving rhythms form the foundation of a sound built for intensity and immersion on the dancefloor. Joining him are Ivan Kyrov (live), bringing a hypnotic and atmospheric live techno set; Berga, with a driving approach to the dancefloor; and Yulia Kasa, completing the night.
