-Gero- (Klymax Discotheque from ID) Gero is a multi-faced, versatile artist, DJ, music selector, and director hailing from Jakarta, Indonesia. He started by curating sounds and performing at house parties for friends. Alongside his collective, Discouture, Gero became a driving force behind vibrant parties in Jakarta, delivering exhilarating DJ performances. In 2016, Gero moved to Bali and founded Studio Ekstotika, a bespoke audiophile records store. This allowed him to explore diverse music selections, including European disco, zouk, balearic beats, and rare grooves. Inspired by the immersive island experience, he created a multidisciplinary collective called Pesona, aiming to capture the essence of coastal life through music. Recognizing his passion, Gero became the music director for Potato Head Studios in 2019, overseeing all music programming, performances, and events. However, his true calling remains in DJing, where he takes listeners on a unique musical journey, transcending geographical and language barriers through his distinct sets. In 2024, Gero has embraced a new chapter as a resident of Klymax Discotheque by DJ HARVEY's In Desa Potato Head Bali. インドネシアのジャカルタ出身、アーティスト /DJ/ ディレクター。 コレクティブ「 Discouture 」を主宰しながらジャカルタのシーンの原動力となってきた 。 2016 年バリ島に移住してからは、ディスコ、ズーク、バレアリック・ビート、レア・グルー ヴなどを扱うレコードショップ「 Studio Ekstotika 」や、島での没入的な体験を元に、音楽 を通じて沿岸の生活の本質をとらえることを目指し、学際的なコレクティブ「 Pesona 」を創 設した。 2019 年からは Potato Head Studios のミュージックディレクターに就任し、当ス ペースの全ての音楽プログラムを監修している。しかしながら、彼の真の天職は依然として DJ であり、セットを通して地理的、言語的な障壁を越えてリスナーをユニークな音楽の旅に 連れて行く。 2024 年より Gero は DJ HARVEY のキュレーションするクラブ「 Klymax Discotheque 」の レジデントとして新たな一歩を踏み出した。
