Thugshop Presents - Special Request

About

Thugshop Presents - Special Request Special Request makes his Singapore debut in MDLR on 20 November, bringing the raw energy of UK pirate radio to our dancefloor. The alias of acclaimed British DJ and producer Paul Woolford, the project moves between heavyweight techno, fractured breakbeats, and jungle with a restless, adventurous spirit. Launched in 2012 with a pair of white-label records, Special Request has become an outlet for Woolford’s most uncompromising ideas. From his releases on Houndstooth to his celebrated DJ-Kicks mix, he draws on a lifetime of record collecting to reimagine the sounds that shaped him, connecting rave’s foundations with an instinct for the unexpected. Behind the decks, thunderous basslines meet razor-sharp breaks, with flashes of euphoria cutting through the intensity. Guided by a deep understanding of dancefloor dynamics and a willingness to take risks, Special Request keeps the room moving and guessing in equal measure. On support, RAAJ and HZQ take charge of the early hours, building it up for a night of the ages. 📅 Friday, 20 November 2026 📍 MDLR, 62 Cecil Street, Singapore 049854 ⏰ 10:30PM – 03:00AM ❗No discrimination of any form will be tolerated. ❗No ID, no entry.
